That’s how I look at my creative outputs with my writing, music, drawing and videos. The series follows their adventures as they develop the visual novel and the friendships that deepen and develop among the team as they hope to sell it at the Comiket convention.īesides being a creative person, what I like about Tomoya is that he also has ambition in him and wants to make something with his friends that he can put out in the universe and share with other people. Thus together they form the development team “Blessing Software”! But he wants to make her the main heroine of his visual novel and in order to do that he recruits his childhood friend Eriri Spencer Sawamura for designing the art, and his other friend Utaha Kasumigaoka for writing the script. Despite her outward appearance she apparently doesn’t stand out much. Turns out that waifu attends his school and is one of his classmates, Megumi Kato.
This idea is sparked in his head after he encounters a waifu who he is enthralled by during his spring vacation. He may not be the most engrossing character in the anime world, but as a fellow creative myself, I can really appreciate the fact he wants to make a visual novel computer game.
I’d say it’s about an otaku (or geek) making his dream a reality. If you’ve never seen Saekano, you might wonder what it’s about. I want to just end this blog post right now by saying that they’re all number one, but as Vegeta once said in Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2, “There can only be one number one!” So let’s see who that is in this series! I’m not gonna lie, ranking this one might seem easy at first blush since there’s really only four to consider, but I feel like I could put this in virtually any order and I’d be satisfied with how I stacked them up. It has a character to suit just about anyone’s taste. One of the great things about it is the variety. Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata or How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend or simply Saekano, is a harem anime series where every waifu is interesting.
